Surgery centres, imaging centres and urgent care clinics do not file Medicare cost reports, so no audited cost-to-charge figure exists for them and we will not invent one. They are listed here because they are usually the lower-cost setting for the same procedure: Medicare itself pays a surgery centre materially less than a hospital outpatient department for identical outpatient work.
